The story: Sailing on the luxury liner, "The S.S. American", are (1) a
gangster on the run posing as a minister, (2) a former evangelist
turned nightclub singer traveling with her four tap dancing "Angels",
(3) a society miss who is engaged to an English gentleman who is also
on board, and (4) her ex-boyfriend who stows away on the ship to try
and win her back. A series of comical mistaken identities take place
as the passengers and crew sing and dance their way across the
Atlantic to songs from the incomparable Cole Porter including "It's
De-Lovely"," Friendship", "I Get A Kick Out Of You", "All Through The
Night", "You're The Top", and, of course, "Anything Goes".
